This training is ideal for Indigenous individuals who are curious about careers, business opportunities, or community roles in tourism. Session Details This is a 10-day micro-credential course offered through the University of Northern British Columbia. The course runs Monday to Friday, from October 20 to 31, 2025. Each day begins at 9:00 AM PST with three hours in a virtual classroom, followed by afternoon time for independent work on assignments. Certification is based on attendance, participation, and the completion of all assignments. Attendance is mandatory. To earn the micro-credential, participants must actively contribute during class sessions and submit all Mission Possible assignments. Value: $1500.00 Due to the high cost and time commitment of this program, ITBC is accepting applications of interest to review before approving the funds. Eligibility Indigenous Tourism BC may cover the full costs of this training for eligible participants.
Prerequisites There are no formal prerequisites – just a willingness to learn and grow in the tourism industry.
