From cleaning supplies in hotels and lodges to pool chemicals at resorts, fuel for tour boats, or maintenance products in cultural centres, hazardous materials are more common than you might think. The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada’s national standard for sharing information about these risks. Who Should Attend? This course is for anyone working in tourism or hospitality who may be exposed to hazardous materials on the job. It's especially valuable for those in maintenance, housekeeping, food services, and operations. Session Details This is an online, self-paced course you can take on your own schedule. It takes about 1.5 hours to complete, and you can work through it in a way that fits your life and commitments.
